Randolph baseball punched their ticket to state with a 6-4 win over New Life Academy of Woodbury at University of Northwestern Roseville Thursday.

New champions will be crowned in Class 3A and 4A while Randolph and LeSueur-Henderson are trying to repeat in Class 1A and 2A.

Five South Suburban Conferrence schools are ranked in the biggest schools class. Four Big Nine Conference schools are among the state elite in Class 3A including 3 in the top 5.

BA is 7-2 overall, 6-2 in the Gopher while Waterville-Elysian-Morristown is 4-3 overall, 3-3 in the conference.

Four Big Nine teams are among the top Class 3A rated teams and Northfield received votes in Class 4A.

The Gopher Conference race is very close heading into the final few weeks of the regular season.
