Minnesota Basketball News has released their updated rankings for the Top 20 teams in each class of girls and boys high school basketball. The Owatonna Huskies boys have been on a roll lately and are rated #19 in the biggest schools class this week.

Hayfield dropped to #10 in 1A.

#5 seed, #2 ranked Hayfield (32-0) will go up against three-time defending Class A State Champion Minneota (27-4). The Vikings of Minneota were rated #7 in the final Minnesota Basketball News rankings of top teams in Class A. They defeated M-I-B 51-48 in overtime.

Becker will play Mankato East at Noon Thursday, March 17, 2022 in Williams Arena in Semifinals action.

It's been awhile since no Lakeville schools were in the Top 20.

Section 1AA is loaded with Rochester Lourdes ranked #7, Lake City #13, Chatfield #15 all in the same southeast Minnesota Section.
