Swap Meet and Flea Market This Weekend
The Rice County Steam and Gas Engine Club will be holding their 19th annual Swap Meet and Flea Market Saturday and Sunday at their show grounds located 3 miles south of Northfield right on State Highway 3. The gates will be open both Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. The consignment auction will be Saturday morning at 9:00 am. The always popular tractor pull at $30 per hook will begin Sunday morning at 9:00 am, registration at 7:00 am.
The Swap Meet and Flea market will be held rain or shine! It sounds like the weather will be very nice except maybe a little warm! Breakfast will be available both days and of course food stands will be on the grounds too. Admission is free and everyone is welcome. President of the club Roger Yanak told me there is always some items that he has never seen before that show up at the Flea Market or Consignment auction.
