Strategic Farming "Lets Talk Crops" was a weekly program that was organized by Lizabeth Stahl an Extension Educator with the University of Minnesota. It was held every Wednesday morning from January 6 to March 24, 2021. "Topics ranged from corn and soybean management and selection tips, pest and nutrient management, and on-farm research, to cover crops, third crops, and conservation programs."

These recordings on timely topics are now available on the website: https://z.umn.edu/strategic-farming. Because the program was so successful the University of Minnesota Extension Service is continuing every Wednesday morning with Strategic Farming "Field Notes" from 7:30 to 8:00 am. These will be interactive discussions that will address "in season cropping issues as they arise."

This is a great idea where farmers can access all the research, experience and advice of crop specialists with all the questions that arise during a growing season! You can register for the Field Notes at the same website as the recordings from this winter. Thank you to the Minnesota Soybean Research and Promotion Council and the Minnesota Corn Growers for sponsoring these programs!
