The Expo is sponsored by the Faribault Area Chamber of Commerce and Tourism, Faribault Public Schools, South Central College, and Townsquare Media.

The Expo will run from 9-3pm today at the mall and will offer you the opportunity to speak with Faribault area businesses that are looking at hiring RIGHT NOW. You might even leave with the prospects of a new job! How cool is that?

On top of bringing in companies that are actively hiring, the event is also offering area high school students and college students the chance to talk to area employers about what they are looking for in new hires. What classes or subjects they should take in high school or college, and what degree is preferred, if that is applicable for the job opening.

There will be plenty to learn, and see at the Faribo West Mall, so come on out and see who is hiring. Remember that having a conversation about that possible new career isn't wrong, it's how you learn if that area of work is right for you.
