SROC Annual Agronomy Field Tour

The Southern Research and Outreach Center at Waseca 9SROC) will be hosting the Annual Agronomy Field Tour Tuesday June 18, 2019. Registration begins at 8:00 am and the tour runs from 8:30 to 11:30. The tour will be held rain or shine. If there is bad weather the program will be held at the SROC Administration Building. Registration is $35 and you do not have to preregister. The registration covers the tour, handouts, morning refreshments and lunch.

Topics and presenters include: Tradeoffs between cover crops and weed management Gregg Johnson, Weed Management Tom Hoverstad, Soybean production for export Seth Naeve, Corn Production Jeff Coulter, Cover crops and drainage Jeff Vetch and Nitrogen management Fabian Fernandez. There will be time for questions and answers or to talk with speakers about specific issues or questions you might have.
