The Southern Research and Outreach Center (SROC) at Waseca will hold the annual Winter Crops Day virtually this year on January 14, 2021. This is always one of my favorite events every year and one of the first that is scheduled right after the holidays. They always have timely topics that are concerns or production issues farmers are dealing with. The University of Minnesota Researchers and Extension Educators always would hang around during lunch and the breaks so I could get some very good interviews too!

There is no cost but you do have to pre-register at : https//z.umn.edu/SROC-WCD2021.I believe the pre-registration is so that you can get the link to watch the program. The program in the morning runs from 10:00am to 12:00 pm and the topics are related to soils. Then the afternoon is from 12:30 to 2:30 pm and those topics pertain to agronomy. For Certified Crop Advisors you will be able to apply for self study Continuing Education Credits (CDU's.)
