I wanted to send out a special thank you to Keith and Carol Schrader and two granddaughters for hosting the annual Soybean Harvest Broadcast earlier this week. It was a beautiful day with sunshine and temperatures close to 70 degrees. Soybean harvest has not really gotten going yet other than a field here and there of early beans. However, we always try and schedule the Harvest Broadcast before we really get into soybean harvest.

When soybean harvest is in full swing everyone is so busy they just stop by for a few minutes and then must leave. At Keith and Carol's many people enjoyed lunch and stayed for a couple hours or more! Speaking of lunch thank you to the crew at CashWise Foods in Owatonna for bringing lunch. It was "real" food, chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy!

Keith thought it would be fun to park his combine at the end of the driveway to let all his neighbors know he was hosting the broadcast. So, I parked the KDHL vehicle in front of the combine. Don't tell John I drove the car down into the ditch! On the combine is Keith, Carol, and two little granddaughters.
