Southern Minnesota Authorities Continue Search For Felon
The Owatonna Police Department and several other police agencies continue their search for a wanted felon. Around 8:45PM on the night of October 29 law enforcement agencies launched an attempt to apprehend a wanted felon believed to be in a dwelling on North Grove in Owatonna. As the search warrant was being drafted, a person believed to be the wanted felon appeared at the residence and then fled on foot.
The suspect, 21 year old Martin Tyler Lampkin was last seen near the 200 block of East Pearl Street. Lampkin is currently wanted on several warrants, including 1st Degree Burglary. Lampkin was believed to be involved in home invasion robberies that took place in Owatonna in May of this year. He is believed to be armed and dangerous.
Lampkin is a black male standing 5'8" and weighting 165 pounds. He was last seen wearing a hooded gray sweatshirt. Anyone with information is asked to call the Owatonna Police at 507-774-7207.
