The University of Minnesota Extension Service will be presenting a Small Grain Winter Workshop Monday at the RCTC Heintz Center 1926 Collegeview Road SE in Rochester 55904. The workshop will begin at 12:00 pm and wrap up at 4:00 pm. There is no cost for the program but for planning purposes RSVP to Ryan Miller: millo869@umn.edu or call 507-529-2759.

The Small Grain Workshop will also be held Monday morning in New Prague, at the First Bank and Trust Community Room 1101 First St SE. This is the former State bank of New Prague. The Small Grain Update will present the latest recommendations for production and pest management. Topics include: Variety selection, soil fertility, production agronomics, disease identification and fungicide use, and grain quality.
