Slow Down This Morning!

Driving across Faribault to the studio this morning the roads were extremely slippery. The Minnesota Department of Transportation is reporting all the roads in our area are snow covered. In addition there were 3 crashes on Interstate 35 between Faribault and Iowa. Plus there were a number of crashes between Faribault and the Metro. You can imagine the mess in the Metro area for the morning commute!

So, slow down and allow extra time to get to work or your destination this morning. In addition of course parking lots and sidewalks are also very slippery. I took my time walking from the city parking lot across Central Avenue to the studio. I am sure city, county and state crews will be out sanding and salting roads but it will take time so be careful. It seems that the first snow event every year we need a reminder as to how to drive on snow packed slippery roads.
