The Northfield Raiders took a 4-0 lead after one period and never looked back Saturday in a 8-0 win at Faribault.

The Falcons are still without a few of their players and are a bit shorthanded.

It probably would not have mattered against the state ranked Raiders.

Northfield is rated #14 in the Let's Play Hockey Class 1A Minnesota Boys High School Rankings.

The Raiders lost earlier in the week in a hard fought game against Red Wing so they were laser focused in the Faribault contest.

The Falcons are at Albert Lea Tuesday while Northfield travels to Mankato West.
