The University of Minnesota Extension Service will be hosting a webinar on fiber, current fiber marketplace, fiber mills and home based wool products. The webinar will be on December 10, 2020 beginning at 6:30 pm. The webinar will be led by University of Minnesota Extension Sheep Specialist Dr. Travis Hoffman. There will also be a panel of producers and processors including: Joanna Friese- Friese Livestock, Joan Weyandt- Strawberry Ridge Farm, Joy Schmitt- Red County Acres Farm, Wade Kopren- Fishhook Sock Company, and Chris Armbrust- Dakota Fiber Mill.

The panel will talk about their stories and provide tips on successful utilization and marketing of fiber and fiber products. This program is designed for farmers and those that work with farmers, 4-Hers and those that are interested in sheep and goats.
