Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - There were at least five crashes involving motorcycles in Minnesota on Saturday. One motorcyclist collided with a farm tractor and two involved deer.

Here is the rundown based on reports from the Minnesota State Patrol:

  • 1:45 pm - Chaska: A motorcyclist was driving on Highway 212 when he lost traction and crashed. The driver was 56-year-old Kevin Ruddy of Brooklyn Park. He suffered life-threatening injuries.
  • 4:45 pm - rural Grant County: A motorcyclist was driving on Highway 59 when he collided with a farm tractor. The motorcyclist was identified as 62-year-old Anthony Kellen of Foley, who suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
  • 5:30 pm - Braham: A motorcyclist was starting to go around a vehicle that was making a turn off Highway 65 when the motorcycle struck the rear bumper and slid sideways. The driver of the motorcycle was identified as 61-year-old Ronald Hall of St Paul. He and his wife Lori suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
  • 8:00 pm - Upsala: A motorcyclist was driving on Highway 238 when a deer ran in front of him. The driver dumped the bike to avoid hitting the deer and suffered non-life-threatening injuries. He was identified as 41-year-old Anthony Miller of Bowlus.
  • 9:15 pm - rural Rice County: A motorcyclist was driving on Highway 21 when he hit a deer. The driver - 42-year-old Gerald Anderson of Kilkenny - suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
