
Rochester Woman Injured In Pine Island Area Crash

Pine Island, MN (KROC AM News) - An elderly Rochester woman trying to make a U-turn created a big traffic mess near Pine Island Friday.
The Minnesota State Patrol says 83-year-old Patricia Heath was driving on Highway 52 when she started making a U-turn onto the northbound lanes and collided with a semi-truck around 3:30 pm.

Heath was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries as was the driver of the truck. He was identified as 36-year-old Alishire Mahamad of St Cloud.
The crash affected traffic in that area for a few hours.
