Serving Ice Cream At The Minnesota State Fair

I have mentioned before when I am at the Minnesota State Fair I always check out the Princess Kay of the Milky Way butter sculptures in the Dairy Building. It is very convenient because one of my favorite fair foods is a strawberry sundae, and that is available in the Dairy Building too. In fact, it is right next to the cooler with the Princess Kay of the Milky Way butter sculptures. Many times there is a very long line of fairgoers waiting to get ice cream in the Dairy Building.

A long line does not mean I will have to wait long to get my strawberry sundae. This is a picture of the Dairy Bar in the Dairy Building. It is set up so everyone goes through one entrance but then there are a number of cashiers. You pay for what you want and a receipt is printed with your order. You then take that to one of the crew behind the Dairy Bar. Notice how many employees are working in the Dairy Bar and all the stainless steel pipes delivering the ice cream. This is serving ice cream in a big way!
