The month of September generally means back to school, fall colors begin to appear on the trees, and of course the last car cruise-in of the season in Faribault. September will be here in just a matter of days, and with September comes live music, food, and classic cars. The last cruise-in of the season here in Faribault looks to be the biggest one yet. On Friday, September 18, head out to Faribault Harley Davidson to check out the cars, grab something to eat, and enjoy some live music.

According to the online event page, performing at the cruise-in Friday night will be Wreckless and Tropical T-Birds. All of the show vehicles will be in the Harley Davidson parking lot that night, so spectators and fans of live music will have to park along the road leading to the motorcycle dealership. Make sure you bring a chair so you can settle in after taking in the sea of chrome and enjoy the music. By the way, all of this is free, minus the cost of food and drinks.

I attended the September car cruise-in last year and was blown away by all the people and vehicles there. This year it will probably be a little bit different due to COVID-19, but the idea is still the same. People gathering together with a love for cars, and live music.

If the weather cooperates, this will be the place to be that Friday night. You can get more details on the event the closer it gets to Sept 18, here.

Speaking of classic cars, how much was gas when you started driving?
