The Minnesota 4-H and Minnesota Livestock Breeders Association are looking for college students interested in serving as spokepersons for animal agriculture at the Minnesota State Fair. Six positions are available to serve as a Minnesota State Fair 4-H Animal Science Speaking Up for Animal Agriculture Peer Mentor.

Persons in these positions "will serve as mentors to selected 4-H State Fair livestock exhibitors in all species (beef, dairy, sheep, swine, goats, poultry, and rabbits) to encourage, model and role-play positive interactions with State Fair visitors to livestock displays,"

Students interested must be available for the five days of the 4-H Livestock Week-end, August 21-25, 2019. Students will be paid $450 to $500 depending on experience plus fair entry tickets, meal tickets and lodging.
