Many journalists and elected officials, local, state or national often ask the question, what do rural people think? Talking with Bruce Miller with the Minnesota Farmers Union at the North American Farm and Power Show he commented that rural people will almost always tell you what they think! But maybe we should tell more people?

The Minnesota Farmers Union will be hosting a Rural Voices Discussion on Tuesday March 27, 2018 at the Blue Earth County Library, 100 E. Main Street in Mankato. The discussion will begin at 3:00 pm. All family farmers and rural Minnesotans are welcome to attend.

Minnesota Farmers Union President Gary Wertish will lead the listening panel along with officials from Governor Mark Dayton's administration and the National Farmers Union. State and Federal officials have been invited. Attendees can bring up any topic they would like to. Minnesota Farmers Union staff will take notes for future reference. For more information contact Bruce Miller at: bruce@mfu.org.
