ROSSEVELT 2019 TWO

Tuesday morning area farmer and Pioneer dealer Brent Fuchs and I had our final school visit of the year at the Roosevelt Elementary school in Faribault. We had a presentation with two classes at 9:00 am and another two classes at 12:20 pm. In addition in the last couple months Brent and I talked with all the third graders at Lincoln Elementary, Jefferson and the Stem School in Faribault. We were not able to visit Divine Mercy in Faribault this year. With all the snow days they did not have time for us this year.

Thanks to the Faribault Chamber of Commerce Agri-Business Committee all of the third graders will also be able to visit a farm. The Agri-Business Committee received a Cargill grant to help pay for the bus transportation out to the farms.  Special thank you to Randy and Kathy Bauer, Nate and Shannon Kuball and Ron and Kay Keller for hosting the third graders at their farms. It is nice to have livestock farms close to Faribault so the third graders do not have a long bus ride!
