The Rochester Mayo Spartans were two for three on the power play Thursday night in a 5-1 win over the Northfield Raiders at the Northfield Ice Arena.  Shots were 29-26 in favor of Mayo.  The Raiders finished one for four on the power play.  It was a 2-1 game going into the final period.

Northfield started the scoring 2:25 into the game on a Zachary Marvin power play goal assisted by Devon Jirik and Garrett Sawyer.  Spartan Jack Holtan answered with a power play goal at 6:37 assisted by Noah Jacobson and Alexander Norby.  It stayed 1-1 until 14:44 of the second period when William Weick scored an even strength goal with assists to Zachary Stewart and Nick Hain.

Rochester Mayo pulled away in the third period.  At 9:35 Stewart scored an even strength goal assisted by Maddox Fleming.  Fleming then scored at 11:55 assisted by Stewart.  Bryce Baker scored a Spartan power play goal at 14:26 to seal the win assisted by William Weick and Fleming.

Wesley Lideen was in net for Northfield and stopped 24 of 29 shots.  Jacob Gathje was the goalie for Rochester Mayo and had 25 saves.
