
Rochester Man One of Two Weekend Motorcycle Fatalities
Undated (KROC AM News) - A Rochester man was fatally injured after crashing his motorcycle in Fillmore County Sunday.
The Minnesota State Patrol says the 64-year-old man lost control while driving on Highway 43 near Mabel and struck a sign around 2:00 PM. The man was identified as Edward Martin. The accident report indicates Martin was wearing a helmet.
A northeast Minnesota man was killed late Saturday night after the motorcycle he was driving struck and a deer in St. Louis County. The State Patrol identified the victim as 20-year-old Devin Eskali of Hibbing.
A Rushford man was hurt Sunday evening after crashing his motorcycle in Winona County. The State Patrol says 22-year-old Alexander Thompson was driving on Highway 43 around 7:00 PM when he lost control and went into the ditch. His injuries were described as non-life threatening. The report indicates Thompson was wearing a helmet.
