The 43th annual Rice County Steam and Gas Engine show will be this weekend Friday, Saturday and Sunday at their show grounds 3 miles south of Northfield on Highway 3. The gates will be open from 7AM to 5:30PM. Admission is just $8 per day or $15 for all three days. The tractor pull is Sunday morning at 9AM and the Kids Pedal Pull is Saturday afternoon at 2PM. Plus there is a Flea Market where you can buy, sell or trade just about anything. There will also be live music and food available on the grounds.

In addition there will be all kinds of activities and demonstrations like plowing with horses and old tractors, grain threshing, blacksmithing, sorghum harvesting and processing, and cutting logs with a sawmill.
