Rice County Habitat for Humanity is looking for families to partner with on house projects.

If you, or someone you know is in need of affordable housing, this might be a great opportunity. You don't have to know the specifics of someone's finances to refer them to the Rice County Habitat for Humanity.

The mission statement of the Rice County Habitat for Humanity is "Rice County Habitat for Humanity partners with families who otherwise may be unable to achieve the dream of home ownership by establishing partnerships among God’s people to build simple, decent and affordable homes."

According to their website, the Rice County Habitat for Humanity is seeking partner families that meed the following criteria.
1. A need for housing
2. The ability to pay an affordable mortgage every month
3.A willingness to put in 350 hours minimum of sweat equity
4. Currently living and/or working in Rice County

If you know someone who could be a partner family, please refer them. Have them visit www.habitatricecounty.org or call Dayna at (507) 323-5167 for more information. Habitat will build in Northfield/Dundas and Faribault in 2017.
