The Executive Secretary of the Rice County Fair will be the guest on today's KDHL AM Minnesota program at 9:30 a.m.  John Dvorak stops by to help us think about the July happening on a dreary winter day.

KDHL Radio is celebrating it's 70th birthday this year and plans are in the works to do some special things during the fair in observance of the milestone.  I know Dvorak wants to, "change things up a bit" and we will find out what that means.

This year's Rice County Fair runs July 17th through the 22nd.

It's the 145th year of the event and in honor of that fair photos are being posted from year's past on the fair's Facebook page.

I know they are hoping people throughout the county will submit some past memories from the fair.  Oldies but goodies in particular would help the county celebrate.

The hope is to create an album and hive it on the Rice County Fair Facebook page.

If you can't listen at 9:30 this morning go to where we will have a videotape of the show for your enjoyment.  It's usually uploaded by mid-afternoon the day of the program.
