Rice County Agriculture Hall of Fame

I sure hope we have a lot of people at the Rice County Agriculture Hall of Fame Program Wednesday morning at the Rice County Fair. A free breakfast will be served beginning at 7:30 in the Beer Garden at the Rice County Fair. The program will begin at 9:15. I will be broadcasting the program on KDHL sponsored by Ag Partners in Morristown, the Dakota Rice Corn and Soybean Growers, Werner Farm Seed, and Compeer Financial.

Dr. Al Batchelder, DVM, Dan Koester and Bernard Huges will be inducted into the Rice County Agriculture Hall of Fame. Jeff and Lisa LaCanne will be recognized at the Rice County Farm Family of the Year. In addition we will recognize the Century Farms in Rice County, Conservation awards and Minnesota Dairy Herds with Superior Cow Care.
