Rice County Ag Hall of Fame Wednesday at Rice County Fair
Everyone is invited to the free breakfast in the beer garden Wednesday morning at the Rice County. Breakfast will be served starting at 7:30. Then the Rice County Fair Agriculture Hall of Fame Program will begin at 9:30 also in the beer garden. Howard and Evelyn Holden, Mary Ann Langslag, and Fred A Schrader will be inducted into the Rice County Agriculture Hall of Fame.
We will also recognize the University of Minnesota Farm Family of the Year the Donahue Family from Donahue's Greenhouse plus a number of conservation awards: 2021 Conservationist of the Year Daniel and Erin Honken, 2021 wildlife Enhancement Award the Rice County Pheasants Forever Chapter and the 2021 Forest Stewardship Award Dan and Joan Zielske. Finally we will recognize the Rice County Century Farms James Sam and Rebecca and Brian Peterson Far-Gaze Farms.
The Rice County Agriculture Hall of Fame Program is sponsored by the Faribault Chamber of Commerce Agri-Business Committee, Rice County Fair and the Nerstrand Agri-Center. The free breakfast is sponsored by the Rice County Farm Bureau, Dakota Rice Corn and Soybean Growers, Rice County Pork Producers and Rice County American Dairy Association.

I will be broadcasting the program live Wednesday morning starting at 9:30 from the Rice County Fair thanks to The Dakota Rice Corn and Soybean Growers, Rice County Pork Producers, Community Coop Oil Association, and Tara Langevin-Faribo Insurance Agency.
