Revised Report Lists Rochester Teen As Driver In Fatal Crash
Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - The Minnesota State Patrol has changed its report involving a recent traffic crash that killed a Rochester teenager.
The revised report lists the teenager as the driver. Killed in the crash was 16-year-old Haya Ambreen Mahmood.
She was initially listed as a passenger and her brother was reported as the driver.
The State Patrol now says 22-year-old Daniel Yeung was the passenger. He suffered life-threatening injuries.
The State Patrol report indicates the two were not wearing seatbelts.
The report says the crash occurred around 2:45 am Sunday near Cannon Falls. The vehicle was northbound on Highway 52 when “It left the roadway, entered the median and rolled across the south bound lanes.”
A GoFundMe fundraiser has been started for the family of the victims. As of Saturday morning, it had raised nearly $6,000.
