Ready for Pork Congress?

Pork Congress 2016 kicks off at 9 this morning. I got to the Media Center about 7:30 this morning. You always try and get there early to beat some of the rush-hour traffic and make sure you get your equipment set up. Well, these days the equipment is just a phone box and computer! But you want to make sure the phone line is actually connected and you can get the wireless internet to work. I am happy to report everything works!

Every year when I walk into the trade show I am amazed at how much time is involved in setting up a show like this. The exhibitors spend a lot of time getting their equipment and booths set up. A company called GES sets up all the booths, tables, chairs, moving equipment, whatever the exhibitors need. Tomorrow afternoon after the show closes down it is amazing at how fast all this can be taken down!
