Editors note: Tractor Parade will go on as scheduled no matter what the weather.

The annual Randolph FFA Tractor Parade will be today. Registration began at 8:30 in the ag shop and the parade is set to begin at 9:00 am. The parade line up will be in the parking lot behind the ag shop. All tractors are welcome, old, new, big, small restored or the ones with their "working clothes on." There are always a few self-propelled sprayers, fertilizer air flows and combines. However, lawn tractors are not allowed!

This was started a number of years ago as a salute to farmers and the start of the fieldwork and planting season. The first year there were about 35 tractors. Last year there were a record 135 tractors. The Randolph FFA Tractor parade will be held no matter what the weather, rain, snow, sunshine, warm or cold. Over the years we have seen all kinds of weather and the parade goes on. The really unique part of the parade is the entire Randolph school goes out onto the lawn to watch the parade, students, teachers, and administration. Everyone is also invited to come and watch the parade!
