If you've got a Prince fan on your holiday list-- and who doesn't here in Minnesota-- Paisley Park has some good news for you.

As all good Minnesotans know, this April 21st will mark five years since Prince passed away. (And, how has it been THAT long already?!?) But just because Minnesota's own Royal Purple One may have left us, doesn't mean his legacy has. And now it's even easier to get all things Prince thanks to a new pop-up holiday store that Paisley Park is opening on Black Friday (Nov. 27th) at another famous Minnesota location.

Paisley Park is, of course, Prince's home base and recording studios located in Chanhassen. They're normally open for tours, but, of course, the ongoing pandemic has changed that this year (though they're scheduled to resume limited operations next month.)

But never fear-- this Minnesota Monthly story says you can get your Prince on with a special Paisley Park Pop-Up store that's set to open Friday at Mall of America in Bloomington. A Paisley Park press release in the story describes it like this:

The holiday pop-up store will be an 'outpost of Prince’s iconic home and creative sanctuary.' On sale will be new, vintage, and exclusive Prince clothing, music, memorabilia, and other gifts.

It sounds like quite that place. BringMeTheNews noted that the vintage items for sale are pre-2016 merchandise from Prince’s own tours or web stores. Paisley Park museum artifacts are also expected to be on display. Of course, there's also a Prince store currently open at the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport, too, which sells merchandise including apparel, books, CDs, vinyl records, and more. (It's located at Terminal 1, MSP Mall, at the entrance to Concourse G.)

And while Prince left us far too early back in 2016, there has been no shortage of beloved celebrities who've left us this year, too. Keep scrolling to check out some of the famous folks who have passed away in 2020.
