Park the Plow, Tillage, Coner Crops and Clean Water

Park the Plow, Tillage and Cover Crops is the title of a program coming up next week at the Dave and Mark Legvold farm located at 5103---315 Street W, Northfield, MN 55057. The Program will be from 7:00 to 9:00 pm on Wednesday September 2, 2020. There is no cost but they require pre-registration. Go the www.crwp.net and click on the "Register Now Here."

Minnesota Department of Health COVID-19 guidelines will be followed. Attendees will be in their vehicles for the presentations with slides projected onto Dave's shed wall. There will be a discussion on strip tillage led by Environmental Tillage Systems, and using the Nitrate Test Kit. Dakota County Environmental Specialist Jill Trescott will talk about groundwater and then there will be a farmer discussion with the Legvolds, Tim Little and John Becker.
