Once we get through the holidays, winter can seem to last forever. The snow, wind, ice, and cold, maybe a blizzard or two, it can make even the hardiest Minnesotan get the Winter Blahs. Yes, we can get cabin fever being all cooped up in the house and only leaving for work/school.

Bold & Cold Owatonna's Winter Festival is coming, and according to their website, they have something planned for everyone.

Owatonna’s “Bold & Cold” Winter Festival is a winter celebration with events and activities that are designed to highlight the Minnesota psyche of “cold noses and warm hearts!

The festival features activities for young and young-at-heart participants, including a medallion hunt, an adult snow volleyball tournament, a family ice fishing contest, snow sculpture contest, Crazy Days shopping event and much, much more!

The snow sculpture contest is already open for registration, both the snow and the location are provided in Owatonna's Central Park. Everyone is welcome to watch the teams as they craft their masterpieces, starting on January 22nd.

The Festival is planned for January 22nd - 26th, 2020. With all of the activities planned already, and knowing that more will be announced, you can also follow them on Facebook and be kept up to date on events.
