An anonymous caller reported a suspicious substance scattered all over a parking lot, which led to an Olmsted County Deputy getting caught red handed!

National Donut Day is celebrated on the first Friday in June. The history of this day is quite interesting. The tradition kicked off during the World War II era when the Salvation Army created National Donut Day as a way to support men and women serving their country. What better way to thank them than by providing free donuts?

Well, the Olmsted County Sheriff's Office celebrated this year, by taking donuts around to their staff that was on duty and documenting it on their Facebook page. Cops and donuts, yes the jokes write themselves with that one. Not to be outdone by delivering their donuts; they also posted the video above that I laughed way too hard at. Talk about "taking a bite out of crime!"
