NTPA Truck and Tractor Pull Canceled

This afternoon I was at the Steele County Fair for Fair Talk with Publicity Director Todd Hale and he informed KDHL listeners that the NTPA Truck and Tractor pull scheduled for this evening was canceled. In addition the Classic Tractor Pull Saturday morning was also canceled. Given all the rain I was not surprised that the track was just too wet to hold a truck and tractor pull. It is disappointing but what can you do when the weather does not cooperate?

On a positive note Todd said they were going to hold the Weather person accountable for their forecast. With warm sunshine Saturday the track should be dry for the Enduro Race Saturday evening and the Demolition Derby Sunday evening. It was also a positive this afternoon to see a big crowd at the Steele County Fair when the drizzle stopped and the sunshine returned!
