Northfield Hospital & Clinics announced today they have opened their vaccination waitlist for 12 to 15 year olds.  They are not yet scheduling appointments for those youth.

Northfield Hospital & Clinics points out in a news release, "The FDA approved use of Pfizer vaccine for youth ages 12-15 on Monday, May 10.  We expect additional guidance from the Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) in the coming days."

"Northfield Hospital & Clinics is setting up processes and clinic dates to serve this age group.  When we have a process in place, we will contact patients and people on our waitlist.  Please do not call or plan an appointment for youth 12-15 now."

"We continue to vaccinate people in our community as broadly and efficiently as possible with the resources we have, following FDA and MDH guidance.  We are committed to serving all members of our community."

The news release ends, "We encourage you to seek other options for vaccine, too.  Look for options on the state's Vaccine Connector:
