National FFA Week every year is the week of Washington's birthday now known as Presidents Day, This year Presidents Day is Monday February 18, 2019. National FFA Week is a week set aside to celebrate the FFA as a youth development program. In recognition of National FFA week you will hear FFA members from area FFA Chapters talking about all kinds of special activities they will be involved in during National FFA Week.

You will also hear from business and sponsors that support their local FFA Chapters. It is not a secret that my two favorite youth organizations are the FFA and 4-H. There are some that are concerned about the younger generation and that they are not as mature or ready to become productive citizens as the older generations. Everyone is entitled to their opinion. However, working with FFA and 4-H members it sure seems like our future will be in good hands!
