MSP Named One of the Worst Airports in the Country
A list was put together by The Points Guy of the 25 best airports and the 25 worst. MSP didn't fare very well...
Thrillist says that when making this list, The Points Guy took a look at a wide variety of factors: amenities, how close it is to the city, sustainability efforts, connection to the community, and they "surveyed the US Department of Transportation database to see the on-time flight departure and arrival stats."
The best airport on the list? The San Diego International Airport. The reasons being "a good on-time record, amenities, and the fact that it's just seven minutes from downtown." On the opposite end, Chicago's Midway International Airport was named the worst airport in the country. This is due to "meager amenities, a lackluster on-time record, and its location."
MSP came in as the 23rd worst airport in the country. Hey, at least we aren't the worst!
