MSHSL Section 2AA Softball Tournament Bracket Released
Lake Crystal Wellcome Memorial received the top seed in the MSHSL Section 2AA Softball Tournament which means they don't have to play until Thursday, May 23, 2024 when they host a game.
The Knights (17-2) only losses have been to Belle Plaine (they split) and Jackson County Central. LCWM will face ither #8 Tri-City United (10-9) or #9 Blue Earth Area (7-11). The Titans and Bucs play in Lonsdale Tuesday, May 21, 2024 at 5:00 p.m.
#2 seeding was awarded to Belle Plaine (18-2) with their only losses coming against LCWM and Bloomington Jefferson. The Tigers tangle with #15 Waseca (1-17) at Oak Crest Fields in Belle Plaine. The winner competes against #7 Maple River (10-8) or #10 Waterville-Elysian-Morristown (6-10) on Thursday.
#3 seed Jordan (11-8) sees Medford (4-10) come to their school to start the tournament. The winner will play either #6 St. Clair/Loyola (10-6) or #11 New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva (5-11) on Thursday.
#4 Fairmont (10-10) entertains #13 Sibley East (4-13) and #5 Le Sueur-Henderson (9-10) collides with St. James (2-15) at Henderson Bender Park on Tuesday. The victors will play at high seed Thursday.
After the second round games move to Caswell Park in North Mankato on Saturday, May 25, 2024.\
