MSHSL Section 1A & 1AA Girls Basketball Tournaments Set

Faribault Bethlehem Academy will travel to Kenyon to play Kenyon-Wanamingo in their Section 1A Girls Basketball Tournament opening game.

Tip time is 7:00 p.m. in the Castle on Thursday, February 23, 2023.

The Knights (11-13) are the #7 seed while BA (9-13) is the #10 seed. The Gopher Conference members split during the regular season.

Gopher Conference overall Champions #1 seed Hayfield (24-3) will play the winner between #16 Leroy-Ostrander (6-20) and #17 Lyle-Pacelli (3-23).

The Cardinals and Athletics square off Tuesday, February 21, 2023 at 7:00 p.m. in Leroy.

#2 seed Grand Meadow (24-2) Thursday will host the Tuesday winner between #15 Schaeffer Academy (6-20) and #16 Wabasha-Kellogg (1-25).

#3 seed Randolph (17-9) will see either #14 Mabel-Canton (7-19) or #19 United South Central (3-12) come to the Launching Pad on Thursday following their Tuesday showdown.

#4 Lanesboro (20-6) will entertain #13 Southland (7-20) Thursday.

#5 Kingsland (20-6) will host #12 Spring Grove (12-14) and #6 Rushford-Peterson (16-10) has #11 Alden-Conger/Glenville-Emmons (11-13) come to Rushford on Thursday, February 23, 2023.

Quarterfiinals are Monday, February 27, 2023 and Tuesday, February 28, 2023 at Rochester Mayo Civic Center.

Semifinals are Saturday, March 4, 2023 with the title game Thursday, March 9, 2023 at 6:00 p.m.

Section 1AA top seed Goodhue (23-3) has #16 Pine Island (0-26) in the Wildcats gym on Thursday, Februaary 23, 2023.

#2 seed Rochester Lourdes (22-4) hosts #15 Lewiston-Altura (5-21).

#3 seed Caledonia (22-3) will have #14 Cannon Falls (8-18) come to their place.

#4 seed Cotter (16-9) squares off with #13 St. Charles (12-14).

#5 seed Plainview-Elgin-Millville (17-9) entertains #12 Blooming Prairie (11-12).

#6 Lake City (12-14) hosts #11 Triton (10-16).

#7 Chatfield (17-9) faces #10 Dover-Eyota (12-14).

#8 LaCrescent (14-11) has #9 Zumbrota-Mazeppa (11-15) go to the Lancers gym.

Quarterfinals are Monday, February 27, 2023 and Tuesday, February 28, 2023 in Rochester.

Semifinals are Saturday, March 4, 2023 at 4:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.
