Just in case you are wondering if I really use my Monte Carlo as a pick-up, here is a picture of my car hauling brush to the yard waste site in Faribault. It took a couple trips but it is surprising how many branches you can get in a trunk, especially if you can pile the brush and hold the trunk down with a bungy cord!

My Monte Carlo pick-up number one was also used like this. It had 349,000 miles on it when the frame was rusted to the point where there was no solid metal left! There is no question it was abused and hauled much heavier loads of seed, herbicide, metal and other "stuff" than it was designed for. However, you have to concede not many cars or pick-ups get 349,000 miles on them before then end up in the junk yard! With oil changes and normal maintenance, it is amazing how many miles cars can go these days.
