Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - Google has found a home in downtown Rochester for its first Minnesota office.

The Collider Foundation today announced Google will be a tenant of the organization's co-working space in the historic Conley-Maass-Downs Building in the 100 block of 4th Street Southwest in downtown Rochester. The renovated building is also the home of the Bleu Duck Kitchen.

“We are honored to host Google in our coworking space as their first Minnesota office,” said Jamie Sundsbak, Interim Executive Director of the Collider Foundation. “Our coworking location in the CMD building was built for innovation and we can think of no better innovative partnership than Google and Mayo Clinic. We look forward to the work that Google and Mayo Clinic are doing together to change the future of healthcare.”

Last September, the Mayo Clinic announced it was teaming up with Google on a 10-year strategic partnership. Mail indicated Google would be the "cornerstone" of the Mayo Clinic's digital transformation, which will include advanced cloud computing, data analytics, machine learning, and artificial intelligence.

The Collider Foundation, which is a non-profit organization created to encourage and support entrepreneurism in the Rochester area, has also announced it will be opening a second downtown Rochester location. It will be at the Mayo Clinic Business Accelerator in the skyway, which is operated by Rochester Area Economic Development.
