The boys of summer will make a winter visit to Owatonna. The Minnesota Twins winter caravan stops at Koda Living Community in Owatonna today for a public event. Players Jake Cave and Tyler Austin are scheduled to appear along with broadcaster Dick Bremer.

A question and answer session will take place just before 10 am in the chapel area of Koda. The public is invited. The players will also greet residents of Koda.

Austin, an infielder, came to Minnesota in the deal that sent pitcher Lance Lynn to the Yankees July 30. Austin homered in his Twins' debut and hit nine homers in 35 games with the Twins, batting .236 with 24 RBI.

Cake also arrived in a deal with the Yankees in a mid-March swap. The outfielder hit .265 in 91 games with the Twins with 13 home runs and 45 RBI.

Destinations also include Albert Lea today, Austin Wednesday and Treasure Island Casino in Red Wing Thursday, January 17 at 5:30 pm.

The Twins' winter caravan visits 40 communities between January 14 and 24.
