Last Friday, Minnesota State Fair organizers shared in a statement that, despite a difficult 2020, plans are proceeding for a State Fair in 2021 with "different scenarios." No word yet on what those scenarios are. Last year, two State Fair Food Parades were held over the fairgrounds over five weeks; both parades sold out. Minnesota State Fair At-Home Edition was offered on the fair’s website and social media channels. The Minnesota State Fair competition division offered four virtual showcases including cookie decorating, crop art, K-12 artwork and photography and quilt on-a-stick. The 2020 Fine Arts Exhibition of Minnesota show also took place both in-person and virtually.

The 2021 Minnesota State Fair is scheduled to run August 26 through Labor Day, September 6th.

What do you think -- will the Great Minnesota Get Together happen this year?
