It's that time of year again when many of us are busy making purchases online and crossing our fingers in hopes that we actually receive the package. For "Porch Pirates" now is really the time to strike. Some of these thieves are so brazen that even cameras are not enough of a deterrent to keep them away. Many wear some type of mask and look directly at the doorbell camera as they walk or run away with your package.

Speaking of door cameras I saw a video not too long ago on TIK Tok where a female hopped out of the passenger side of a car parked at the end of the driveway ran up to the porch grabbed the package then took off down the steps and slipped on the grass. You can hear her cry out in pain as her leg is badly broken. She attempts to get up but can't walk. Finally, a male hops out of the car runs up to her grabs the package, and runs back to the vehicle. She yells to him not to leave her there and he finally turns around and grabs the female and helps her to the car as they take off. Now I would not wish injury on anybody, but this was a bit of karma if you ask me.

WCCO/CBSNEWS reports, a man in Minneapolis is so sick of his packages being stolen off his porch that he decided to do something about it. He has taken his dog's poop and has put that in the boxes for the thieves to unknowingly steal. Believe it or not, this has happened 20x since he started doing this! So if you have a dog this is a great way to get rid of their mess in your yard, or you can have your packages delivered to your workplace or maybe get an Amazon lockbox. I don't even bother I have everything delivered to work and then I don't have to worry about it. To Chuck Freiberg and his dog Buster I say good for you, I doubt the same thief ever has shown up twice at his house.
