The Minnesota Volleyball Coaches Association website said they would update their preseason poll on September 5, 2021.  I was not the only person that didn't see the update Sunday or Monday.  But they were there today, Tuesday, September 7, 2021.

The Cannon Falls Bombers moved up a spot to #3 in Class AA prior to their sweep of #7 ranked Waterville-Elysian-Morristown Tuesday night.

Faribault Bethlehem Academy opened the season with losses to Stewartville and Eden Prairie on the road before their home opening loss to #1 Mayer Lutheran in 3 sets.  The Crusaders prevailed 25-20, 14, 21.  BA is #6 in latest poll.

#1 rannked AA Southwest Christian traveled to Class AAA #7 Kasson-Mantorville and went home 3-2 winners.  Scores were 25-15, 26-24, 22-25, 24-26, 11-15.

The Byron Bears are ranked #6 in Class AAA.  New Prague is #4.

Other Class A rankings have Mabel-Canton #4, Cleveland #8 and Kenyon-Wanamingo and Hayfield in Also Receiving Votes.

I said after watching Eden Prarie defeat Bethlehem Academy last week they would be in the top 10 among the biggest schools in the state and they are #9 after wins over Waconia, BA and Lakeville South to start their season.

Because the regulation of exotic animals is left to states, some organizations, including The Humane Society of the United States, advocate for federal, standardized legislation that would ban owning large cats, bears, primates, and large poisonous snakes as pets.

LOOK: Here Are 30 Foods That Are Poisonous to Dogs

To prepare yourself for a potential incident, always keep your vet's phone number handy, along with an after-hours clinic you can call in an emergency. The ASPCA Animal Poison Control Center also has a hotline you can call at (888) 426-4435 for advice.

Even with all of these resources, however, the best cure for food poisoning is preventing it in the first place. To give you an idea of what human foods can be dangerous, Stacker has put together a slideshow of 30 common foods to avoid. Take a look to see if there are any that surprise you.
