The Minnesota FFA Foundation is coming together to celebrate the positive impact that Agricultural Education and the FFA have on more than 35,000 students in Minnesota classrooms. There will not be a Great Minnesota Get Together (state fair) this year but there will be a Great Minnesota Give Together!  The telethon will show program and student success at all eight regions of Minnesota. The four hour long telethon will have performances and messages from teachers, students and the agricultural community from all over Minnesota.

"Agricultural Education is vital in providing students an opportunity to not only grow their awareness of agriculture but to develop skills needed to pursue careers in agriculture and to be leaders in their local communities," said Val Aarsvold, Minnesota FFA Foundation executive director, " As soon as we realized that we wouldn't be celebrating student success at the Minnesota State Fair, members of the FFA  Foundation Board of Trustees set to work on a plan to highlight the success of our students."

There are sponsorship opportunities for business and supporters of the FFA. Contact Val Aarlsvold Minnesota FFA Foundation executive director at 507-534-0188.
