This is the second year that the Minnesota Corn Growers Association (MCGA) will be offering two statewide $5,000 scholarships for college students. Students must be enrolled as a full time undergraduate during the fall 2020 semester. The deadline to apply for the statewide scholarship is January 31, 2020.

MCGA scholarship applicants have to be a Young Adult Member of the MCGA and working for a degree in an agricultural related field. Young Adult Membership in the MCGA is available to those who ate 16 to 24 years of age. You can join on the Minnesota Corn Growers website: mncorn.org/join.

$5,000 is a very nice scholarship and would sure help students (and parents) with the high cost of college these days! If you know of students that would be interested spread the word about the MCGA scholarships. You can get more information from your local county corn grower organizations or at the web site: mncorn.org/scholarships. By the way, you do not have to be enrolled at the University of Minnesota!
