Minnesota Class B Baseball Tournament Opens Saturday in Jordan
The sixteen teams participating in the Minnesota Baseball Association Class B State Tournament have been bracketed. Three of the four teams that qualified from Section 1 play on Saturday at the MIni-Met. Dundas goes up against Blaine at 1:30 p.m. Saturday. Defending State Champion Miesville plays 1:30 p.m. Sunday against Victoria.
Northfield opens with Champlin 7:30 p.m. Saturday and Elko faces Chanhassen 5:00 p.m. Saturday. It's do or die the opening weekend and then the tournament becomes a double elimination affair. If Dundas wins their first game they would go to Shakopee on Friday, August 24th at 7:30 p.m. to play the winner of the Shakopee/Cold Spring game.
The Miesville/Victoria winner plays at 5:00 p.m. in Shakopee on Frday, August 24th against the Forest Lake/Hibbing victor. If the Northfield Knights win they play at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, August 24th in New Prague against the Chaska/Moorhead winner.
If Elko wins they would play Friday, August 24th in New Prague at 7:30 p.m. against the Sauk Rapids/Coon Rapids survivor.
