Minneapolis (KROC AM News) - It appears the Minneapolis school strike is coming to an end.

Teachers and support staff walked off the job March 8th after talks with the district on a new contract reached an impasse. The major stumbling blocks included wages, class sizes and increased mental health support for students.

The school district has announced a tentative agreement with the workers was reached early Friday and students may be back in the classroom Monday morning - one week before spring break is scheduled to begin.
